3D Corp., a Bellingham network-management firm, has promoted Ian Weydert to network administrator and hired Andrew Johnson as a systems administrator for its network-engineering team.

Weydert joined the 3D team in March 2011 as a systems administrator. In his new position, he will take on tasks including mentoring and training systems administrators, serving as a resource for advanced problem resolution, and scheduling technical resources.

Johnson comes to 3D from Whatcom Community College where he earned an associate’s degree in computer information systems. His responsibilities will include remote help-desk support, problem resolution and network troubleshooting, as well as system maintenance and implementing other IT business solutions.
