Whatcom Center for Early Learning Fundraiser to be held March 17

The annual Whatcom Center for Early Learning fundraiser to benefit young children with special health care needs, will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club.

The auction and fundraiser honors the agency’s 39th anniversary, and this year’s auction theme is “Celebrating Children…Creating Futures.”

Evening activities will feature gourmet dining, live Celtic Music by Party of Three, live and silent auctions, and our Pot of Gold. Tickets are $75 per person, and reservations can be made by calling 671-3660, ext 100.

This 8th annual event is the major fundraiser for Whatcom Center for Early Learning, a local non-profit agency providing services to support the development of very young children with special needs and their families since 1973. WCEL parents and professional therapy staff partner to provide learning opportunities to strengthen development within a family’s daily routines.

Whatcom Center for Early Learning, located at 2001 H Street in Bellingham, serves 110 eligible children and their families in Whatcom County each month. Services are provided onsite in our “Big Blue House,” in family homes and in other community settings at no cost to eligible families.
