A new Whatcom Community College class series will teach professionals and volunteers how to improve the effectiveness of their nonprofit organizations through fund development, organizational management and volunteer management.

The series, called “Boost Your Nonprofit’s Capacity,” is part of the college’s Continuing Education series. Participants may sign up for single classes, but registration is discounted if students take all three classes in the series.

Classes are taught by instructors Virginia Lang and Saralee Sky.

The cost is $55 per workshop or $135 for the three-class series.

All classes are held on the WCC campus.

Organizational Management, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Oct. 26
Volunteer Management, 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., Nov. 9
