Terry Meyer of the Cascade Community Wind Company will give a free talk at Western Washington University on his company’s efforts to develop wind-power production in Whatcom County.
The event starts at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, in Room 110 of WWU’s Communications Facility. The talk is part of the Huxley College of the Environment Speaker Series
Meyer’s talk, titled “The Story of the Spectacular Failure of Wind Power in Whatcom County,” will focus on Cascade Community Wind Company’s unsuccessful effort to build a commercial wind turbine in Whatcom County. The presentation will include a question-and-answer session.
