The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center’s sixth annual “Compete for a Cause” Cribbage Tournament will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, in the Boundary Bay Brewery Beer Garden.
Sign-in begins at 9:30 a.m. Registration—which is now open online—costs $25 per person, or $20 for students and seniors. All proceeds benefit the WDRC.
“Cribbage is one of those games that young and old, stranger and friend can play together in good-spirited fun,” said Moonwater, WDRC’s executive director, in a press release. “It’s an all-inclusive way to put a positive spin on conflict through friendly competition.”
Since the event has drawn sold-out crowds each of the past five years, WDRC organizers encourage advance registration.
The fundraiser also includes prizes, food and a raffle. The event is sponsored by Boundary Bay Brewery and The Table.
Boundary Bay’s beer garden is located at 1107 Railroad Ave. in downtown Bellingham.
The WDRC can be reached at 360-676-0122.
