The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center is celebrating its 20th anniversary providing and promoting constructive and collaborative approaches to conflict through mediation, training, facilitation and community education.
The celebration will be held from 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20 at NorthWood Hall, 3240 Northwest Ave. in Bellingham.
The free event will feature the debut of a WDRC film clip created by Current Media Productions, client testimony and a historical perspective from a WDRC founder, as well as a catered chicken fricassee lunch and birthday cake donated by Let Them Eat Cake.
Over the past two decades, the WDRC has helped thousands of families, neighbors, businesses, and students resolve differences peacefully and amicably, as well as build their skills for managing difficult conversations.
