Whatcom Farmers Co-op hosts a grand opening event for its new Fairhaven store from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4.
The event will feature vendor samples, refreshments and a door-prize drawing, along with other giveaways. The first 50 guests at the grand opening will receive a special gift. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
The new location is located at 3125 Old Fairhaven Parkway.
Whatcom Farmers Co-op, founded in 1982 by a merger of Whatcom County Grange Supply and the Western Farmers Association, sells fuel, fertilizer and farm supplies in stores around the county.
The cooperative serves thousands of customers and, according to its website, has annual sales exceeding $50 million.
