Whatcom Hospice is looking for volunteers for two programs ti provide assistance to those facing a life-threatening illness.

Volunteer’s duties would include providing companionship, respite care, light chores, transportation or errands for those with a life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Volunteers may also prefer to not provide direct patient care and instead make deliveries, provide landscape support, work in the office, knit, sew or sing.

An informational meeting is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon March 19 at the Hospice Administration Building, Lower Level, 2800 Douglas Ave., Bellingham.
