Whatcom Human Rights Task Force seeks nominations

Nominees are being sought by the Whatcom Human Rights Task Force for their 14th annual award ceremony on May 26 at the St. Lukes Educational Center.

Nominees can be a person or group known for contributions to the defense, education and promotion of human rights in Whatcom County. Possible areas of work can include peace, justice and human rights. A nominee should embody the vision of the Human Rights Task Force, summarized as “We envision Whatcom County as a diverse and compassionate community where every person enjoys equal justice and opportunity.”

Nominations can be submitted through April 27 to the board at whrtf@whrtf.org or they can be mailed to P.O. Box 2191, Bellingham, WA, 98227.
