Nominees are being sought by the Whatcom Human Rights Task Force for their 14th annual award ceremony on May 26 at the St. Lukes Educational Center.
Nominees can be a person or group known for contributions to the defense, education and promotion of human rights in Whatcom County. Possible areas of work can include peace, justice and human rights. A nominee should embody the vision of the Human Rights Task Force, summarized as “We envision Whatcom County as a diverse and compassionate community where every person enjoys equal justice and opportunity.”
Nominations can be submitted through April 27 to the board at firstname.lastname@example.org or they can be mailed to P.O. Box 2191, Bellingham, WA, 98227.
