Mystery novelist Elizabeth George is the visiting author for this year’s Whatcom READS! program.
The award-winning writer will be at the Blaine Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, to speak about her latest book, “In the Presence of the Enemy,” which is the 2012 selection for the countywide reading program.
Whatcom READS! encourages all Whatcom County residents to read and discuss the same book.
George will be at Western Washington University’s Academic Instruction Center West at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, to speak about the writing process. She will also speak at Whatcom Community College at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23.
