The Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington will host its first ever “Tech Awards” as part of its annual holiday luncheon on Friday, Dec. 7.
Awards will be given in four categories: most innovative new technology, product or service; outstanding achievement in industry leadership; rising star; and technology leader of tomorrow.
The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Bellingham Technical College.
“We have a very vibrant tech community right here in Whatcom County,” said Sommer Cronck, TAG’s executive director, in a press release. “We want to highlight all of the great things happening here in technology and look forward to showcasing the best and the brightest in our industry through these awards. We also hope that these awards will serve to further raise community awareness of the innovation going on and that technology is thriving in Whatcom County.”

Nominations are open to all Whatcom County businesses and individuals meeting the criteria. They due no later than Friday, Nov. 30.
Registration for the luncheon closes Dec. 5.
