Whatcom Volunteer Center (WVC) is accepting nominations to honor volunteers in Whatcom County at their annual Heart and Hands Awards event.

Forms to nominate a volunteer are available at the WVC or on its Web site. Nominations are due in the WVC office before 5 p.m. on April 2.

Everyone nominated for the Heart and Hands Awards will be honored at an ice cream social at 2 p.m. on April 25 at Bellingham High School.
