Whatcom Women in Business will offer scholarships to women furthering their education.

In 2009, the organization honored 11 women with a $1,000 scholarship to help them return to school or continue their education.

Scholarships will be awarded this year after an application and panel interview process. The deadline for submission is May 15 and the application can be found on the Whatcom Women in Business Web site at www. wwib.org.
