Whatcom Women in Business is accepting nominations for its 31st annual Professional Woman of the Year awards, the winners of which will be honored at a banquet on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club.

The deadline for submitting nominations is Saturday, June 15.  Nominees should be an established leader in their fields or organizations, provide mentorship and inspire community involvement.  An online application form can be found at www.wwib.org.

Along with the awards banquet, Whatcom Women in Business will hold silent and live auctions, with proceeds going toward scholarships benefiting women who are pursuing higher education.  To donate an item to the auction, contact Keri Fenton at karif@silverreef.com.
