The Whatcom Family YMCA will open its fourth program center this spring in the Sudden Valley community southeast of Bellingham.

The YMCA plans to move into an existing community recreation center in Sudden Valley. It will operate a full-service program center there, which starting in March will offer YMCA memberships, services and programs.

A grand-opening date will be announced within the next few weeks.
