Windows on the Bay, an event center for social and business gatherings, opened July 1 in the Bellingham Yacht Club building located at 2625 Harbor Loop Drive in Squalicum Harbor. The space was formerly occupied by Emerald Bay Events.

Windows on the Bay is a new venture headed by Tom and Barb Kilpatrick, owners of Hilltop Restaurant & Catering.

“We’ll be offering a wide choice of cuisines that will match the elegant interior and exquisite view of the marina, islands and sunsets,” Tom said.

Windows on the Bay is available for events of 50-200 people, depending on seating arrangements. Alcohol may be served at the facility, but clients must obtain a banquet permit, Tom said.
