The Woods Coffee has struck a deal with Tully’s to purchase its coffee shop on the corner of Stuart Road and Meridian Street near United Furniture Warehouse.

This will be the 11th store for The Woods, which just opened its 10th location in January in Bellingham’s Flatiron Building. The new space on Meridian is less than a year old and is located on a busy intersection in Bellingham’s commercial corridor.

“We see this as an outstanding location for both drive-thru traffic as well as a perfect place to meet before or after shopping” Wes Herman, owner of The Woods Coffee, said in a press release. “With no other drive-thru coffee shops between Lynden and Bellingham, this becomes an important part of people’s daily routines.”

Herman plans to open the new store by July 4, after some remodeling to match the look and feel his other coffee shops.
