After opening its first Skagit County location on College Way in Mount Vernon at the end of the 2014, The Woods Coffee today announced that its 16th location will be next to Costco in Burlington, in the former Apple Teriyaki site at 1779 S. Burlington Blvd.
The coffee shop is under construction and expected to open in mid-April, according to a news release.
“We have actually had our eyes on this spot for more than 10 years now,” said Wes Herman, Woods Coffee owner, in the release. “Being next to Costco and in front of Panera Bread will make it convenient for those in Burlington to enjoy Woods Coffee.”
The Burlington location will have a drive-thru and indoor seating.
Woods’ 17th location will open on or around May 1 in Bellingham’s Barkley Village Haggen. It will be the second Woods location in Barkley Village and the second Woods Coffee shop in Haggen. Woods opened its first store inside Haggen in 2011, in Sehome Square Haggen.
“Haggen has been a leader in bringing a coffee experience to its guests,” Herman said. “Our family and staff are looking forward to partnering with them in another location.”
