The nonprofit Service Corps of Retired Executives also known as SCORE is conducting a full-day workshop, “Starting and Managing a Small Business,” scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Whatcom Community College.

The workshop includes, such topics, as: financing, accounting, taxes and legal considerations and more taught by seasoned SCORE counselors and other community experts.
