World War II "Flying Fortress" returns to Bellingham's Heritage Flight Museum

A World War II B-17G bomber, known as “Sentimental Journey,” will be on display and available for rides from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. between July 5-9 at Bellingham’s Heritage Flight Museum.

The bomber is maintained and operated as a flying museum and memorial by the all-volunteer nonprofit Commemorative Air Force.

The “Sentimental Journey” is the most fully restored B-17, popularly known as “flying fortresses,” still flying today.

The Heritage Flight Museum is located at the Bellingham airport.

Tickets for flights inside the historic plane start at $425 per person.
