WWU Career Services Center hosts job fair, Feb. 14

Western Washington University’s Career Services Center hosts its Winter Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room.

Admission is free.

The recruiting event will allow students and the general public to meet with hiring managers from a wide range of employers, including private-sector companies, nonprofit organizations and government agencies.

Participating employers include: Amazon, B/E Aerospace, City of Seattle Parks and Recreation, Costco, Dynacraft, Enterprise, EMC, Fred Meyer, Kent School District, King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks, Peace Corps, Port of Seattle, Puget Sound Energy, Tableau Software, Target, U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Watson Furniture, Zones Inc., and others.

Organizers suggest that job seekers research participating companies in advance, dress in professional business attire and bring lots of resumes.
