Western Washington University plans to host a series of information sessions for its new program that will allow registered nurses to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Information sessions are scheduled for:
– 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, in conference rooms 5 and 6 of the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center (near its main campus cafeteria).
– 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, in Room 212 of Whatcom Community College’s Laidlaw Center.
– 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, in Room 144 of at Skagit Valley College’s Angst Hall (Mount Vernon campus).
The new nursing program begins fall 2013. Priority deadline for program applications is Monday, April 1.
Information session participants will have the opportunity to meet WWU’s nursing education staff and faculty, who will help attendees better understand how to apply for the program, learn about financial aid resources, and find out more about course requirements for admission.
The program is offered through WWU’s Woodring College of Education.
