WWU lifelong learning academy hosts program preview, Sept. 11

Western Washington University’s Academy for Lifelong Learning hosts a fall program preview from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal’s Second Floor Dome Room.

The event will cover the academy’s fall courses and excursion offerings. It is open to all interested adults, regardless of age or educational background. No registration is necessary to attend.

Classes are taught by WWU faculty, faculty emeritus and experts in many fields and professions, and are held at various locations in Bellingham including the Bellingham Cruise Terminal and WWU’s campus.

At the preview, course instructors will provide brief descriptions of their upcoming courses and registration will be available on location, as well as online.

Fall 2012 will feature 25 classes and six excursions beginning in late September through next February. Classes range from one to six sessions in length, with each session typically lasting two hours.
