A survey by the Chronicle of Higher Education ranked Western Washington University as one of the best colleges in the nation to work for. The results are based on a survey of more than 43,500 faculty and staff at 278 colleges and universities, according to a press release.
Western has been recognized with the award for four years in a row. This year, they are one of 92 institutions to achieve the recognition.
The college won honors in four categories: collaborative governance, confidence and senior leadership, supervisor or department-chair relationship, and tenure clarity and process.
