More than 55 employers looking for interns and volunteers will attend the Community Internship and Volunteer fair later this month at Western Washington University.
Western’s Community Internship and Volunteer Fair goes from noon to 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room on Western’s campus. The event is free and open to the public.
According to a news release, the fair is Western’s largest event dedicated to providing information about internship and volunteer opportunities in social justice, community service, the environment, arts and government.
Organizations at the fair will include Allied Arts, North Cascades Institute, ARC of Whatcom County, Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center and the Student Conservation Association.
