YWCA elects seven new board members

At its annual meeting April 28, the Bellingham YWCA membership elected seven new members to its board of directors: Donna Anderson, Shasta Cano-Martin, Joni Crines, Katherine Deets, Carol Ann Gleaves-Eriksen, Cathi O’Connell and Nancy Pace.

Anderson is a financial analyst for public, private and nonprofit organizations.

Cano-Martin is executive director of the youth project Lummi CEDAR.

Crines is the senior transportation coordinator at T.C. Trading Company and volunteers with the Honor Day Foundation and Bellingham Compassion Movement.

Deets is an associate at the law firm Chmelik Sitkin & Davis.

Gleaves-Eriksen works in investor services at Saturna Capital.

O’Connell is a domestic violence attorney with LAW Advocates.

Pace is a broker at Keller Williams Realty and former Whatcom Women in Business president.

The new board members join Annette Bagley, Adriane Bonaparte, Camille Hackler, Mary Harrington, Cecily Hazelrigg-Hernandez, Krisinda Plenkovich, Stephanie Reinauer, Joan Ullin and Sabrina Walton.

The YWCA also honored retiring board members Michelle Zimberoff, Jo Collinge, Sherry Partlow and Varya Fish.
