Many Bellingham residents saw the Thiller dance over Halloween, but many might not know that performance ended with an $1,100 donation to Blue Skies for Children.
In October, the Bellingham Tennis Club & Fairhaven Fitness held a “Learn the Thriller” dance series where attendees learned Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance and then dressed like zombies and performed in Fairhaven and downtown Bellingham on Halloween night.
Robin Robertson, owner and general manager of the Bellingham Tennis Club & Fairhaven Fitness, said the group of 60 zombies entertained nearly 4,000 people on Halloween night.
Fifty percent of the proceeds from the Thriller dance series were donated to Blue Skies for Children.
